Dark Spirit

Dark spirits are demons that have taken on an incorporeal form to possess living hosts. Although there are methods for detecting whether someone is possessed by a demon, they are not well-known and mostly involve magic rituals, allowing demons to masquerade as normal creatures and infiltrate society.

Dark spirits have powerful magical abilities and can use them while possessing a host, although such magics usually make it clear that the host is no ordinary creature. Once their host is killed, dark spirits are weakened, but can still use some of their magical abilities. They usually flee to resume their demonic forms or possess another host, taking advantage of their mist-like substance and swift flight to escape even well-planned ambushes.

Dark spirits, having a substance that is not entirely real, are extremely difficult to hit with attacks, and are likewise difficult to injure, even if an attack manages to connect. Combined with their frightening speed, these qualities would make them potent combat units if they did not have very limited toughness.

Special Notes: This unit has magical attacks, which always have a high chance of hitting an opponent. This unit’s arcane attack deals tremendous damage to magical creatures, and even some to mundane creatures.
